Here we are at Day 4 and I've got a few issues with my neck and back, hopefully just from sleeping funny, but I don't want to be hunched over the computer for any longer than I need to this evening, so we'll go for something short and sweet... (the question is can I do short and sweet when it comes to writing?!!)
Those of you on Facebook may have seen this questionnaire doing the rounds. I had been meaning to do it for ages as I love the amazing minds of little people and now I've got the opportunity to share it with a wider audience by blogging about it. Plus it mixes up the usual blog content a bit and hopefully you'll find it a bit of fun.
So this is the drill... 'WITHOUT ANY prompting, ask your child these questions and write down EXACTLY what they say. It is a great way to find out what they really think'
Interviewer: Me
Interviewee: My 3 year old Daughter (of course!)

To set the scene, the sun is shining and we're outside getting comfy...
1. What is something mum always says to you?
Tidy up. (Oh dear, so now you know, we have tidy issues in our house!!)
2. What makes mum happy?
When I be happy. (true of course)
3. What makes mum sad?
Do you know because I don't know (probably a good thing at three years old!!)
4. How does mum make you laugh?
By telling funny words to me! (so I'd better elaborate... these funny words are basically calling things by different names, so referring to the car as a carrot etc. It's a sure winner when it comes to putting a smile on her face!)
5. What was mum like as a child?
Erm, one moment please I just need to go upstairs into my teepee... (hmmm concentration span at school come September could be an issue! Anyway two minutes later she trots back out to the garden with cushions for us both and gives her final answer...)...a baby (ok, not sure how to take that?)
6. How old is mum?
Can you remember how old you are because I don't remember? (I told her 34 and she proceeded to tell me... no you're 37! Thanks!!)
7. How tall is mum?
Really tall (Ha! From the eyes of one so small, I'll take that at a whopping 5' 4"!!)
8. What is her favourite thing to do?
Can you remember? I don't know. But if you did know what would it be?
A caterpillar (ok perhaps we'll give up on this one!)
9. What does mum do when your not around?
Erm, work and eat lunch (pretty much spot on!)
10. If your mum becomes famous what will it be for?
A consolation prize (well that sounds promising, not! More to the point where have you learned the word consolation at 3 years old?!!)
11. What is your mum really good at?
Playing with play dough (My life's goal is complete!!)
12. What is your mum not really good at?
Not good at drawing people (a bit more thought and then...) and not good at colouring in.Mummy don't write anymore (she runs into the house again to apparently get pencils - drawing and colouring lesson for me perhaps? She comes back with a pen, a wooden cot and a monkey and then proceeds to start quizzing me and pretending to write down my answers. Erm, who's the boss here? Actually, don't ask!! And then out of nowhere like a blow to the head, a further delayed answer to this question... I don't think you're very good at doing anything Mummy (someone strike me down now!!)
13. What does your mum do for a job?
Erm, she colours in. (hmmm judging by the previous answer I'm not sure this would be a good industry for me!)
14. What is your mums favourite food?
Lots of things. Spaghetti bolognese? (lots of things yes and a good hearty spag bol might be up there but as mentioned on my previous blog I literally eat anything!)
15. What makes you proud of your mum?
(lots of thought for this one) When she sits with me (Wow! Now there's the lump in my throat and a serious pang of 'I don't spend enough time with her' guilt kicking in!)
16. If mum was a character who would she be?
Mummy (ok, shouldn't be too hard!)
17. What do you and mum do together?
Play together (phew!!)
18. How are you and mum the same?
We have green eyes (Yep and that's about where the similarities end...)
19. How are you and mum different?
Erm I look like Elsa and you look like Anna (oh but I want to be Elsa!!)

You love me twice (and more)
21. What does mum like most about Dad?
You like him colouring in (well someone's got to be good at it!)
22. Where is mums favourite place to go?
Beetroot (a favourite funny word at the moment, no idea why?)
